At Barrington Bike Park, we believe that adventure and environmental stewardship go hand in hand. From the very beginning, our vision has been to create world-class trails while protecting and regenerating the natural landscape.

PROTECTING OLD GROWTH

• No large or old trees were removed during trail construction.
• Trails were carefully designed to weave around existing vegetation, preserving the integrity of the forest.

SMART TRAIL DESIGN

• Extensive drainage systems were engineered and built to prevent erosion.
• Sustainable construction practices ensure that trails remain safe and environmentally friendly for years to come.

REFORESTATION EFFORTS

• Hundreds of new trees have already been planted across the park.
• These plantings strengthen biodiversity and contribute to long-term forest health.
• Removal of cattle from the property allows the native forest to naturally expand, regenerate and flourish, improving the resilience of the landscape.
• Soil health and water retention has also significantly increased.

EXPERIENCING THE FOREST

• Our trails open access to otherwise unreachable sections of dry rainforest.
• Riders can immerse themselves in a unique ecosystem while respecting its delicate balance.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND EDUCATION ​

• We support the local and wider mountain biking community by donating our time and resources to committees and educational projects.

WILDLIFE CORRIDOR​

• The bike park provides a valuable wildlife corridor from the forest to the river, helping to maintain biodiversity and ecosystem connectivity.
