What days are you open?
Barrington Bike Park is currently open Saturdays and Sundays for bookings. During school holidays the park is open for bookings every day except Christmas Day and New Years Day. A minimum of 8 riders are required for the park to open. If you have a group of 8 or more riders and you would like to come midweek, call us for bookings.

How much does it cost to ride Barrington Bike Park?
Barrington Bike Park is a shuttle-only park: you park and we drive. Shuttle passes are $90 pp per day. Kids under 12 years are $60 pp per day. The shuttle pass includes unlimited shuttle rides from your booked arrival time until 3:30 pm (last shuttles) plus access to The Steps Barrington as a Day User.

Can I bring my E-bike?
E-bikes are welcome at Barrington Bike Park. There is no riding on the shuttle roads so E-bikes need to be loaded onto the shuttle vehicles for transport to the top.

I am a Beginner. Is Barrington Bike Park suitable for me?
Yes. Barrington Bike Park's trail network offers riding adventures for beginner mountain bike riders. The green trails are suitable for mountain bike beginners, but you must have ridden a mountain bike before. We highly recommend having a look on our trails map and talking to our staff before booking. Always ride within your abilities and start on the green trails. Only progress to blue trails if you have the skills and experience to ride them safely. |

What bikes are appropriate to ride Barrington Bike Park?
Working brakes, front suspension and tyres at least 1.9” wide are minimum standards. We highly recommend dual suspension. Please make sure that your bike meets these requirements and is in a good mechanical condition. Be aware that riding may otherwise be refused and no refund provided. The ultimate responsibility that the equipment is appropriate lies with the rider. Our staff will do basic checks.

Full-face helmets are compulsory for the riding trails from the second trailhead (Deadman's Creek, Detonator, Stinger, Strangler). Australian Standard helmets (AS/ANZ 2063 – 2008) are required for all other trails.

Can I hire bikes at Barrington Bike Park?
Yes, we have mountain bikes available for hire. Bike hire must be paired with a Shuttle Day Pass. You can hire dual suspension KONA Process 153 (medium frame - large frame), KONA Process 134 (extra small frame - small frame - medium frame - large frame) and KONA Process 24 Mountain Bikes. Bike hire includes a helmet.

Please bring your own mechanical repair equipment with you. Currently, patch kits and tubes are available from the office. We have basic tools available to assist you. In future, there will be a full workshop but we're not there yet!

Drinks and snacks are available at the Office. Bring your own food for your time at Barrington Bike Park. We recommend stocking up on your way through Gloucester or your last chance at Barrington village general store.

Follow the directions on your booking confirmation! It's important that you do not use a GPS to get to the Bike Park if coming from the south because the GPS suggests the shortest route but the road is closed.

No, Barrington Bike Park is accessible by 2WD vehicles (NB. there is 5km of gravel road which can be slippery when wet).
